Hagar’s story contains painful power and mistreatment. God met her in flight, heard her distress, and addressed her personally. He was not confused about her location or indifferent to her pain.
Being seen by God does not make harmful treatment acceptable. It gives you dignity and courage to seek wise help, safety, and truth while trusting that your story is held before Him.
