We learn from these women without pretending every action was exemplary. The Bible records both faith and failure. Old Testament women trusted the God of Israel and His promises; they did not yet know Jesus by name, but their stories form the redemptive history fulfilled in Him. Women in the Gospels and early church encountered, followed, and proclaimed Christ directly.
