DAY 24 · 6 MINUTE DEVOTIONAL

Hope after heartbreak

Healing may be slow, but Jesus is not impatient with the places that still ache.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Psalm 147:3

SIT WITH THE WORD

A broken heart can come from death, betrayal, rejection, divorce, disappointment, or dreams that did not survive. Scripture does not rush grief with slogans.

God binds wounds attentively. Healing may include lament, community, counseling, legal protection, medical care, forgiveness, and boundaries. A scar is not evidence that God failed to meet you.

REFLECT WITH JESUS

What loss needs to be grieved rather than minimized?

1What am I pressuring myself to be ‘over’?

2What support would be wise now?

ONE FAITHFUL STEP

Carry it into today

Name the loss without qualifying it; share it with one safe person.

PRAY

Healer of the brokenhearted, meet me in this loss. Give me safe people, patient hope, wise care, and courage for the next step. Amen.

CONTINUE TOMORROW

Serve without disappearing

Galatians 5:13
