Many women learn to treat belonging like an audition. We become useful, agreeable, beautiful, productive, or spiritually polished, hoping someone will finally choose us.
The Gospel begins somewhere better: in Christ, God adopts by grace. Obedience matters, but it grows from belonging; it does not purchase belonging. Today you can stop performing and start responding to love already given.
